Why purchase several jeans that are made for “the average person” when you can customize your jeans for roughly the same price? I kept asking myself that question and decided to put these custom jeans to the test. Of course, many of you have probably already heard about makeyourownjeans.com from talk shows and/or magazines. I decided to try another online custom jean shop that isn’t as well known, but may be just as good: indidenim.com. If talls have two shops to purchase custom jeans from then that will double our style choices.

I decided to go with the Presidio trouser fit from indiDenim. I was able to customize everything: color, fit, belt loops, pockets, seams, bottom cuff and more. I went with the 35” inseam cheiri fabric average rise wide leg 3” hem tab belt loop trouser jeans with the standard patch and no crease (as seen below). They also collected my measurements and asked about the current fit of my jeans. According to their Web site, they will compile all of this information to create the perfect pair of jeans. What’s even better is they come with a guarantee, the Perfect Fit Promise. If they do not fit I can return them. Or I can tell them where the measurements are off and indiDenim will make any fit and style adjustments I specify until I get the perfect jeans. Once this perfect fit is achieved my measurements stay in the system and I can use them every time I order a new pair.

Well . . . that’s a very tall order. No pun intended. I will receive them in approximately a month. Once I receive them I will post pictures and let you know if custom is the way to go!
