I guess you can buy them for any event, but when you see the price I’m pretty sure you will only splurge on these for a very special occasion. Unless you have a serious shoe addiction and cost is no option! Shoes of Prey offers custom shoes ranging from size 2.5 to 15. To start, choose from 12 different styles. From there you can determine the heel height, color combination, material and much more.

When Shoes of Prey commenced some of our girlfriends breathed a sigh of relief and wrote ballads in our honour. These were the girls we knew who have large shoe sizes. Finally, shopping for shoes in drag queen stores could cease, jamming feet into too-tight shoes was over and women with large feet could at last commission shoes to be made in their size!

And our heel heights range from the super comfy ballet flat to the glamour-zonian 4½ inch heel. Our prices range from $180-$330 (USD) depending on what you design, plus $25 shipping, which is a flat fee, worldwide.

We have made shoes as large as a European 49 in the past (Size 15 US/AU and Size 13½ UK).

My New Haircut

Well … It’s about 4 months old, but I haven’t posted any pictures of myself on the blog recently so it’s new for some of you all. The summer of last year I decided to start growing my hair out natural (no chemicals) so by the fall I needed to begin cutting some of the old chemical processed hair off. Trust me, it was hard, I still miss my ponytails, but it was well worth it. I went all the way “home” to Chicago to have my mom cut it. I think it turned out great. The pictures below show a super curly version of it. I also sometimes wear it straight. Just thought I would share the new look. Hope ya like it. Click here to see the “old me”. Sartoria: Custom Long Johns, Onesies, Singlets and More for the Winter

Before updating some items in my Etsy shop I decided to browse the homepage of Etsy to check out the featured items and stores. The featured story on Sartoria: Regenerative Design caught my eye. This stores sales custom underwear, singlets, longjohns, bralettes and onesies. The pictures of these are beautiful and they look really comfortable. They are based out of Toronto, Canada and ship everywhere. Allow 2-4 weeks for delivery since every order is custom made–so they are a tad bit pricey; however, you get an item with the right length/size and in your favorite colors. Though I’m featuring women items below, they also custom make men’s undies, undershirts, and long johns.

Saw this picture of Kim Kardashion on the blogosphere and I must say I love these pants. I believe they are Rachel Zoe’s Angelica Wide Leg Pants. Of course they are all sold out except size 8. What’s nice is they have a 35″ inseam.

Affordable Tall Pants at …Kohls!

As I was poking around the net looking for some brown pants (I have way to many black and grey pants) to my surprise I happened to stumble across a few tall pants from Kohls. I’ve had a few people ask me where they can purchase pants that don’t cost $100 and I think this may be a great option. Most of their pants cost around $40-50. Currently they are having a sale so it looks like sizes are going quick. The inseams range from 33-35 inches depending on the brand. I’m not sure if they also offer tall sizes in store, but if I had to guess, I’d say they are probably only available online. I would still advise going to the store and trying on the regular length just to make sure you like the cut and feel of the pants before purchasing them online. To see all styles click here.

I hope you had an awesome holiday! I need a few days to get back into work mode.

2011 was a good year. I’m excited and ready to find out what I will discover in 2012. As I combed through my favorite blogs and web pages last year, to find the latest trends and products, I was pleasantly surprised to see that more and more tallpreneurs are starting there own businesses and fashion blogs. I can’t wait to see what they have in store for us this year.

Thank you for your comments and emails. They helped me come up with fresh content and discover more products. I hope to bring you a lot more videos this year (hubby got me a new cam) and hopefully find the time to produce some of my t-shirt designs (I spent time at the end of last year revamping my design site: creativeroute.com). Don’t worry more bags to come. Spring line will be mostly clutches; I’ve developed an addiction to them—bye, bye big bags.

Lululemon has created the perfect, comfy solution to combat the cold—the Live Simply Jacket. This long, “bum-covering” hoodie is made of preshrunk French terry fabric. The extra-long sleeves have thumbholes to help keep the sleeves down so your hands stay warm. On the Lululemon website, this hoodie is rated as 5 stars. The only complaints (from women that aren’t as vertically blessed) are that it’s too long (yay for tall women!). You can order this hoodie online for $98 from Lululemon. Hurry… they are selling like hot cakes!
